This series is about much more than murders and mysteries. DYING TO BE BEAUTIFUL explores the beauty or lack of it in humanity. It's about insights into human behaviors, people's life choices and the impact of their choices on themselves and others, plus how others' choices impact them. The books also touches on timely issues such as the homeless, vets with PTSD and threats to the environment.

"DYING TO BE BEAUTIFUL is a fascinating look into the multi-million dollar world of beauty and the things people will do to attain it. You are a fun and engaging storyteller who clearly knows her way around a plot twist or two. Jenna manages to be both tough and glamorous in her role as a private investigator."

"A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written murder mystery book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great murder mystery movie, or a mini TV series. 1 book you must read to the very end. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars."

"A Peak at the Rich and Famous. The book was written well, and the main characters very likable. There are 'deals' and affairs, as well as plenty of danger. My favorite character is Watson, an Irish Setter and his adopted sister, Aggie. They stole the show for me."

"I just finished the second in the mystery series "Dying to Be Beautiful," and I am hooked! Jenna, the main character, is whip smart, and lovely. The author describes beautifully what really happens in the Hampton's, especially in the crazy summer months. Weaving the theme of homelessness into the story line is brilliant, and works extremely well. Just loved it! A quick and frothy read!"

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written murder mystery book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great murder mystery movie, or a mini TV series. 1 book you must read to the very end. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars. — Tony Parsons MSW (Washburn)
